F-80C-10-LO Shooting Star USAF FT-805,C/N 49-805 "Seductive Shirley", operated by the 51th FIW, 25th FIS based at Kimpo Air Base in December 1950 at the Korean War.51th FIW was tasked to adquired Air Superiority in the combat area,but had great problems with the aparition in combat of the superior MiG-15, after the 1th November 1950.One pilot of the 16 FIS, 51 FIW(LT Russell Brown) was wrong credited with the destructionof one MiG the 8th November; actually this MiG,flew by the Soviet LT Kharitonov of the 72th GIAP landed intact and safely at Antung Airfield.The explosion sighted by Brown was the impact of the drop tanks in the ground.riginal by Massimo Taccoli Repainted ,flight model and revised DP file by Daniel Nole.
