Designed to cut into the 747 market share, the Lockheed L-1011 did so in the 70's and early part of the 80's. Design to meet the medium/long course where the '47 would behalf full. Unfortunally fuel crisis and the existance of the DC-10, made the Tri-Star a losing battle for many carriers. FS2004 Lockheed L-188 Electra

Description:

This panel was created for the Lockheed L-188 Electra model by Mike Stone however it may be used with other L-188 models as well as the P-3 Orion.I have created a modified L188.air file to support this panel (PS-L188.air) as well as a modified aircraft.cfg file.To create the Main, Upper and Lower panels, I used a cockpit photograph by Martin Lehner which I found on http://www.airliners.net ( Search there for L-188 and Martin Lehner in the photographers field ).Martin has graciously given his permission to upload this panel based on his work.The BAC 1-11 can be found at http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/default.htm Paul Strogen
