Description:
Herzlia airfield is the busiest GA airfield in Israel.Conveniently located in the tel Aviv region, It was built during WWII by the British Air Force and was later transferred to the Israeli Air Force.The airfield was reconverted for civilian use in the 1950's and served as a permanent base for crop dusters.Today, Herzlia is home to several flying clubs and a handful of commercial operators.The scenery includes the region extending from Sde Dov Airport (LLSD) in the South to the National Sport Institute, (Wingate Institute) near the city of Netanya in the North.The scenery also covers the Raanana-Kvar Saba junction in the East.By David Rosenfeld and Nir Behar
