FS2004 UK Refineries  Description: When searching for the UK Refineries locations, I was struck by the number of tank farms, separate from the refineries themselves,to be found in the VFRGM area. It seemed logical to have these displayed on my UK scenery, also. The thought of undertaking the same amount of work as involved in the Refineries wasn't attractive! The project could, though be undertaken, using a different process, which, as an additional incentive, would greatly increase the distance at which objects' textures could be seen. The downside, which had prevented my using it for Refineries, is that scenery constructed in this way is not visible in FS2002. My apologies to FS2002 users but, if I hadn't used this method I wouldn't have set about the job. The roar of Beechcraft and Cessna is replaced by ear splitting roar of rails and funny cars. Using one small photo and AFCAD I altered one incorrect taxiway and added a bit of this and that.
